About the role
Provide administrative support and patient care coordination to ensure an organized, family-centered patient care environment. Conduct screenings for everyone entering the inpatient units and support all Children's staff in improving the health and well-being of all children through excellence in patient care, teaching, and research.
Responsibilities
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry, and communication with families and visitors.
- Conduct screenings for all individuals entering inpatient units to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Coordinate patient care activities to maintain an efficient and organized environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to families and visitors, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.
- Collaborate with Children's staff to enhance patient care, teaching, and research initiatives.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience working with diverse populations.
- Non-sedentary work requiring mobility throughout various areas.
Qualifications
- Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in direct customer interaction situations.
- Certificate in Medical Terminology or equivalent.
- Familiarity with other cultures and bilingual skills are highly desirable.
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Pay
$21.64 - $32.45 per hour
Schedule
Work is non-sedentary in nature and during the scheduled hours of work, the employee may be required to mobilize work in various areas.
