Unit Coordinator - Admin: Horizon House
About the role
The Unit Coordinator - Admin plays a crucial part in facilitating the daily operations and social activities within the Clubhouse. This role involves working closely with Clubhouse members to help them navigate various aspects of life such as employment, education, and accessing community resources. The coordinator also organizes and plans events, promotes health and wellness activities, and assists with manual and clerical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Engage Clubhouse members in the work of the Clubhouse
- Aid members in navigating employment, education, and community resources
- Create and organize evening, weekend, holiday, and special events
- Organize exercise opportunities and facilitate health and wellness educational forums
- Assist with manual and clerical responsibilities related to food services, advocacy, and other unit activities
Requirements
- Strong computer skills
- Drivers' license required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) and/or relevant experience preferred
- Clubhouse experience, community-based programs, or Recovery Learning Community experience a plus

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and engage Clubhouse members
- Organizational and planning skills

Pay
$21.37 per hour
Schedule
Full Time, 40 hours per week. Flexible daytime shifts available, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
