UNIT CLERK II: EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

Job Summary

Provides clerical support for assigned unit including but not limited to maintaining patient records, written and computer transcription, answering unit phone calls, and excellent communication skills.

Education

• Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent
• PREFERRED: Medical Terminology training

Registration/Certification/Licensure

• Act 33/73 clearances

Experience

• Minimum: N/A
• PREFERRED: Previous experience working as a unit secretary; experience working in an emergency setting.
