About the Role

HR leader for our newly acquired Intergalactic business based in St. George, UT and our Unison global engineering organization. The HR leader will partner with client group senior leaders, people leaders, and employees on organizational and employee matters, workforce planning, coaching, talent management, and own core HR processes and projects specific to the ~400-person client group.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, promoting partnership and collaboration across functions to strengthen team performance and achieve shared goals.
  • First point of contact for employees & managers who provide leadership, coaching, and support for individual employee needs & HR processes.
  • Support a diverse client portfolio spanning Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Materials, Quality, and Programs in a P&L modeled environment.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of HR practices and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy.
  • Direct people leadership responsibility, with accountability for coaching, development, and performance management.
  • People KPI owner for client group, including regular operating reviews, problem solving, and action planning.
  • Facilitate change management and culture development in partnership with the leadership team.
  • Act as focal with acquisition integration team and Unison leadership.
  • Partner with leaders and people analytics to build strategic workforce plans for Intergalactic and Engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in a related area or unrelated area with 4 years of HR experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources and/or relevant work experience—roles that involve the application of labor and employment principles, operational, and business management.
