Schedule

1st shift | Full-time

Responsibilities

• Installs, inspects, maintains, and repairs HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, and related systems, including performing preventive maintenance and assisting with boiler/chiller operations.
• Evaluates system performance, identifies repair needs, and recommends preventive measures by inspecting HVAC components and monitoring equipment.
• Supports energy management systems, including assisting with installation, programming, and maintenance.
• Responds to emergencies and power outages, ensuring safe system operation and adherence to safety protocols, including use of PPE.
• Communicates work status and technical information effectively, interprets complex data, and applies knowledge of HVAC codes, safety standards, and air quality monitoring.
• Maintains tools, equipment, and materials; participates in training, emergency response teams (e.g., Fire Brigade/Disaster Team), and completes special projects and other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• License/Certification: Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date; Certified Maintenance Professional specializing in EPA Refrigerant Handling obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
• Experience: Requires a minimum of two (2) years verifiable HVAC/R service and repair
