HVAC Mechanical Service Technician Serviceman (union)

Responsibilities

• Commission, service, and maintain the most advanced commercial equipment in the world.
• Consult with customers on comfort, building inefficiency, and other service-related issues.
• Access to Factory Technical Support.
• Equip with safety equipment, uniforms, tools, cell phone, technical equipment, and vehicle.
• Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
• Identify enhancements for customer system reliability and sustainability during service.
• Provide labor and material quotes for recommended solutions.
• Participate in weekend, night, and holiday call-out service on a rotating basis.

Requirements

• Adherence to the company Safety Program.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to join the UA of Plumbers and Pipefitters.
• One year of Commercial and/or industrial work experience in the HVAC industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance and minor repairs on pumps, VFDs, Air Handling Units, and Rooftop units.
• EPA Refrigerant Certification required.
