About the role
The role involves traffic planning and design, focusing on developing and implementing strategies to improve road safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation engineering, traffic analysis, and project management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement traffic flow optimization plans
- Conduct traffic studies and analyze data to inform design decisions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success
- Prepare and present reports on traffic planning initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in traffic planning and design
- Proficiency in traffic simulation software and GIS tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of traffic engineering standards and best practices
- Experience with traffic signal design and intersection improvements
- Understanding of traffic demand forecasting methods
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with traffic modeling software (e.g., CORSIM, VISSIM)
- Strong understanding of traffic engineering principles
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
