About the role
The role involves traffic planning and design, focusing on developing efficient and sustainable transportation solutions. Successful candidates will contribute to projects that enhance urban mobility and environmental sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement traffic flow optimization plans
- Conduct traffic studies and analyze data to inform design decisions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success
- Prepare and present reports on project progress and outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in traffic planning and design
- Proficiency in traffic simulation software and GIS tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of traffic engineering principles and practices
- Experience with traffic signal design and intersection analysis
- Understanding of sustainable transportation concepts and best practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with traffic modeling software (e.g., CORSIM, VISSIM)
- Strong understanding of traffic flow theory and traffic control systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
