About the role
The role involves traffic planning and design, focusing on developing efficient transportation systems and improving road safety. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in urban planning, civil engineering, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement traffic flow optimization plans
- Conduct traffic studies and analyze data to inform design decisions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success
- Prepare and present reports and presentations to clients and internal teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in traffic planning and design
- Proficiency in GIS software and traffic simulation tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of traffic engineering principles and practices
- Experience with traffic signal design and intersection analysis
- Understanding of sustainable transportation solutions
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with traffic modeling software (e.g., CORSIM, VISSIM)
- Strong understanding of traffic flow theory and urban traffic management
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
