Undergraduate Teaching Scholar- Gateway to Health (Fall)

About the role

The Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences (DFCAS) First Year Experience (FYE) Unit seeks Undergraduate Teaching Scholars (UTS) for the college’s CAS 1583 - Gateway to the Health Disciplines course.

Responsibilities

• Meet with students individually or in groups, to help them understand course materials, ideas covered in the course, and course assignments.
• Contribute to weekly engagement activities, in class exercises, and student participation in person and online at the Canvas Course page.
• Maintain communication with students through monitoring, answering, and directing incoming student email as directed by the primary course instructor.
• Complete other course-related tasks as assigned by the primary course instructor.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
• Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
• Must be available to attend all meetings of the section of CAS 1583 to which they are assigned.
• Hiring is contingent on there being an open section for which applicants are available.
