About the role
The Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences (DFCAS) First Year Experience (FYE) Unit seeks Undergraduate Teaching Scholars (UTS) for the college’s CAS 1583 - Gateway to the Health Disciplines course.
Responsibilities
- Meet with students individually or in groups, to help them understand course materials, ideas covered in the course, and course assignments.
- Contribute to weekly engagement activities, in class exercises, and student participation in person and online at the Canvas Course page.
- Maintain communication with students through monitoring, answering, and directing incoming student email as directed by the primary course instructor.
- Complete other course-related tasks as assigned by the primary course instructor.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
- Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
- Must be available to attend all meetings of the section of CAS 1583 to which they are assigned.
- Hiring is contingent on there being an open section for which applicants are available.
