About the role
The Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences First Year Experience Program seeks Undergraduate Teaching Scholars for the college’s new Gateway to the Humanities course (CAS 1573).
Responsibilities
- Commenting on discussion posts
- Keeping track of students’ work
- Completing other course-related tasks the professor assigns
- Meting with students individually or in groups, to help them understand course materials, ideas covered in the course, and course assignments
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
- Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA Required.
- Available to attend all meetings of the section of CAS 1573 to which they are assigned.
- Hiring is contingent on there being an open section for which applicant is available.

Pay
Pay Range: Targeted salary of, $150.00 biweekly based on education and experience.
Schedule
Work Schedule: Scholars will work on average, approximately 7 hours per week. They are required to spend 3 hrs./wk. attending all meetings of their section. Outside of class-time they will spend approximately 4 hrs./wk.
Travel
Not required.
