- Wednesday 12a-8a – Mon View
- Friday 1p-11p – Whiting Turner Parking Lot
- Saturday and Sunday 4p-12a – Mon View

About the Role
In this role, Physical Security Officers (PSO’s) can expect to be working in demanding and fast-paced environments. PSO’s may find themselves working in a wide range of areas to include medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues, and public events. Additionally, PSOs may be asked to work with a firearm. The PSOs mission is to protect all people, information, and property assigned, while delivering high-end customer service. PSOs represent the front line of our security services.
Responsibilities
- Delivering high-end customer service
- Responding to emergencies
- Deterring and preventing crime
- Performing ingress/egress control procedures
- Investigating incidents
- Completing daily logs and incident reports
- Conducting regular walking or vehicle patrols
- Building and maintaining a professional rapport with clients, guests, and co-workers
- De-escalating conflicts
- Detaining suspects
- Monitoring CCTV cameras
- Performing other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Current and valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years experience in armed security is recommended
- Must be able to pass PAT and ASO course
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient time management skills
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent de-escalation skills
- Proficient firearms skills
- Extensive use of force knowledge
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening, and OPS training requirements
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work under stress/pressure
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Ability to wear a uniform
- Ability to pass Physical Agility Test (PAT)
- Ability to use force, up to and including deadly force, when reasonably justified
