As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control operations. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial work areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by post orders.
• Observe conditions around equipment, materials, and restricted areas, reporting hazards, damage, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns to site management and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
