Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, contractor, and vehicle authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
