About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a Graveyard Train Station in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Government. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a secure environment for staff and visitors. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, communicating professionally, and responding to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government-related location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor logs, and report access-control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information while maintaining a professional presence in a public-facing environment.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR certification.
• Guard card or license.
• Handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton experience.
• Handcuffing certification.

Pay

$26.79 per hour.

• Tuesday: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Wednesday: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Thursday: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
