About the role
As an Unarmed Security Officer at a Graveyard Train Station in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Government. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a secure environment for staff and visitors. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, communicating professionally, and responding to security-related concerns with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government-related location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor logs, and report access-control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
- Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information while maintaining a professional presence in a public-facing environment.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPR certification.
- Guard card or license.
- Handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton experience.
- Handcuffing certification.
Pay
$26.79 per hour.

- Tuesday: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
- Wednesday: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
- Thursday: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
- Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
- Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
