Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Train Station in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, observe and report security-related concerns, assist visitors and personnel, and provide professional customer service and communication.

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe persons entering or leaving the location in accordance with established procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident records, and patrol documentation.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
