Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Train Station Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication.

• Day: Wed 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Thur 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Fri 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Sat 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Sun 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity across the location, reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Support daily operations at a government location by following post orders, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with security-related requests consistent with site expectations.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Pepeler spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
