Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or other security-related concerns while maintaining a professional presence.
• Assist with access control, loss prevention support, and/or incident documentation in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.

Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver's license for driving positions only.
