Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, offering directions and assistance to patients, staff, and guests while following location protocols for access control and restricted areas.
• Support a professional environment by communicating with hospital personnel and first responders when needed, and/or assisting during medical incidents, evacuations, or other emergency situations.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Customer service experience.
• Computer or tablet proficiency.
• Security-related experience.

$17.50 - $18.50 / Hour

DayTime: Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 12:00 AM - 07:00 AM
