Marksman Security is Now Hiring for an Unarmed Security Flex Officer at $19.00 per hour. This role is located in Hazelton Mills, PA (commutable from Wilkes-Barre and surrounding areas). The site is a secure, high-volume distribution and warehouse facility requiring the highest level of professionalism, attention to detail, reliability, and excellent work ethics.

Responsibilities

• Rover: Conduct foot or vehicle patrols, detect suspicious behavior, and prevent vandalism, theft, or other criminal activities.
• Gatehouse: Greet truck drivers and guests, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, and control access to the property.
• Front Desk: Greet guests with courtesy, provide customer service, control access, monitor CCTV systems, announce visitors, and distribute packages.
• Access Control: Perform security checks according to site procedures.
• Dock Operations: Monitor shipping areas, manage dock doors, log trucks, and prevent theft during loading and peak-season projects.
• Receiving Support: Assist with inbound truck processing, maintain accurate logs, send/receive emails, and monitor open dock doors.
• Security Checks: Conduct checks according to site procedures and report concerns to supervisors.
• Site Monitoring: Use computer systems to monitor activity and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Minimum of one year of security experience.
• Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test).
• Physical requirements: occasional crawling, crouching, climbing stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping, and walking for extended periods.
