Marksman Security is Now Hiring for an Unarmed Security Flex Officer at $19.00 per hour. This position is located in Hazelton Mills, PA (commutable from Wilkes-Barre and surrounding areas). In-person interviews are held on-site in Hazleton.

Responsibilities

• Rover: Foot or vehicle patrols, responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts, or other criminal behavior.
• Gatehouse: Greet truck drivers and guests with a friendly demeanor, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, and control access to all persons to the property.
• Front Desk: Acknowledge and greet all guests with utmost courtesy and urgency, provide customer service, control access, monitor CCTV camera systems, announce visitors, and distribute packages.
• Access Control: Perform access control and security checks according to site procedures.
• Dock Operations: Monitor shipping areas, open and close dock doors, log inbound and outbound trucks, and help prevent theft during loading and peak-season projects.
• Receiving Support: Assist with inbound truck processing, keep accurate logs, send and receive emails, and monitor open dock doors.
• Security Checks: Conduct security checks according to site procedures and report any concerns to your supervisor.
• Site Monitoring: Use site computer systems to monitor activity and keep accurate records according to site procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of security experience
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience
• High school degree or equivalent
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
• Physical requirements: occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping, and walking for extended periods
• Availability to work shifts based on business needs

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security and customer service fields preferred
