Marksman Security is Now Hiring for an Unarmed Security Flex Officer at $19.00 per hour. This position is located in Hazelton Mills, PA (commutable from Wilkes-Barre and surrounding areas) and requires a minimum of one year of security experience. The ideal candidate will also have customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Rover: Foot or vehicle patrols, detect suspicious behavior, prevent vandalism, thefts, or other criminal behavior.
• Gatehouse: Greet truck drivers and guests, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, control access to the property.
• Front Desk: Greet guests with courtesy, provide customer service, control access, monitor CCTV systems, announce visitors, distribute packages.
• Access Control: Perform security checks according to site procedures.
• Dock Operations: Monitor shipping areas, open/close dock doors, log trucks, prevent theft during loading and peak-season projects.
• Receiving Support: Assist with inbound truck processing, maintain logs, send/receive emails, monitor open dock doors.
• Security Checks: Conduct checks according to site procedures and report concerns to supervisor.
• Site Monitoring: Use computer systems to monitor activity and keep accurate records.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older
• High school degree or equivalent
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience
• Minimum of one year of security experience
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
• Physical ability to crawl, crouch, climb stairs, kneel, run, sit, stand, stoop, and walk for extended periods
