Responsibilities

• Device Check: Scan tags on approved employee devices and verify IMEI numbers against stickers or paperwork.
• North Dock: Monitor trash dump for theft attempts, open and close dock doors, track outbound trucks, count pallets for inbound trucks, and monitor open dock doors during loading; oversee special projects during peak season.
• South Dock: Count pallets for inbound trucks, monitor special projects during peak season, send and receive emails, type truck information, and open/close dock doors.
• Metal Detector: Check devices in and out, ensure only approved devices with stickers or paperwork are allowed, verify visitors clear the X‑ray, and watch the X‑ray machine to prevent prohibited items from entering the building.
• Rover: Patrol the area to deter theft attempts.
• Tracker: Use computer software to keep track of all high‑value loads.

Required Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Non‑commissioned security license issued by the state of Texas.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Monitoring and surveillance experience.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bi‑lingual ability considered a plus.
• Availability for evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.
