Schedule
- First Shift every third Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- One variable first shift during the week, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- When not working weekends, 24 hours per week, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with call rotation
About the Role
The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic procedures on patients using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structure, providing quality images to radiologists and physicians for interpretation. Responsibilities include all aspects of ultrasound procedures such as abdominal, pelvic, gynecologic, small parts, Doppler studies, and interventional procedures. The role requires an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient’s individual age-specific needs and provide tailored care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program specializing in Sonography
- Credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification
- Proficiency in real-time imaging, color flow, Doppler, transvaginal scans, biopsies, and interventional procedures
