About the Role

The Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound examinations based on physicians' orders, utilizing advanced equipment while considering patient-specific needs. This role requires ensuring accurate imaging and maintaining patient comfort.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasound procedures accurately following medical directives.
• Operate sophisticated ultrasound equipment safely and effectively.
• Provide patient-centered care, addressing individual age-related or special needs.
• Maintain proper documentation and adhere to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Educational requirements aligning with certification, licensing, or registration standards.
• Board eligibility for American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification.
• Valid Oregon Sonographer or Temporary license upon hire.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association).

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of clinical ultrasound experience, especially in obstetrics/gynecology.
