About the role
We are seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using advanced equipment, tailoring procedures to patients' individual needs. This role involves following physician orders, ensuring accurate imaging, and providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Performing ultrasound exams accurately and efficiently
- Adapting procedures to patient needs
- Maintaining equipment and documentation
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure quality care
Requirements
- Relevant education meeting certification, licensing, or registration standards
- Board eligibility for American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification
- Oregon Sonographer or Temporary license upon hire
- American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire
- Within 6 months: ARDMS certification or permanent license for new graduates
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 2 years of clinical diagnostic ultrasound experience
- Specific OBGYN sonography expertise
