Ultrasound Technologist - Per Diem Day

About the Role

We are seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations based on physicians' orders. This role involves utilizing advanced ultrasound equipment while accommodating patients' specific needs, including age-related considerations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasound procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment according to protocols.
• Adhere to certification, licensing, and registration requirements.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient care.

Requirements

• Education meeting certification, license, or registration standards.
• Board eligibility for American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification.
• Oregon Sonographer or Temporary license upon hire.
• National Provider BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• For new graduates: board eligible and ARDMS certification within 6 months, with a temporary OB license.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of clinical ultrasound experience, especially in OBGYN.

Skills

• Strong technical skills with ultrasound equipment.
• Excellent patient communication and care skills.
• Ability to follow protocols and maintain accuracy.
