About the role
Associate Sonographer responsible for operating ultrasound imaging equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Operate imaging equipment
- Ensure patient safety
- Maintain high-quality images
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Follow safety protocols
Qualifications
- Graduate of a Sonography school with clinical hours or registered sonographer
- Certification via ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI required or eligible
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 30 days
- State licensure may be required
Skills
- Knowledge of imaging protocols and machine operation
- Understanding of safety procedures and emergency protocols
- Attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Perform bending, reaching, and other physical tasks
