About the role

Associate Sonographer responsible for operating ultrasound imaging equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate imaging equipment
  • Ensure patient safety
  • Maintain high-quality images
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals
  • Follow safety protocols

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Sonography school with clinical hours or registered sonographer
  • Certification via ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI required or eligible
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 30 days
  • State licensure may be required

Skills

  • Knowledge of imaging protocols and machine operation
  • Understanding of safety procedures and emergency protocols
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Stand and walk for extended periods
  • Perform bending, reaching, and other physical tasks
