About the role

The Associate Sonographer operates ultrasound imaging equipment to support patient diagnosis and treatment, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Sonography program or registered sonographer
  • Applicable state licensure
  • ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI registry (or eligible)
  • BLS certification within 30 days

Skills

  • Knowledge of imaging protocols, machine operation, safety procedures, and radiation safety
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and teamwork abilities

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, pull 50 lbs
  • Stand and walk for extended periods
  • Perform bending, reaching, and squatting
