Ultrasound Technologist Float Pool

Role Overview

This position is part of an Imaging Float Pool, requiring flexibility to work across multiple facilities. Responsibilities include maintaining competencies at various sites, working at least two different locations per period, and self-scheduling shifts with a minimum of four within each 8-week cycle, including challenging shifts like weekends or nights. The role offers a 10% pay premium plus shift differentials.

Qualifications & Skills

• Registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with successful completion of a relevant registry beyond physics
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
• Preferred: 1+ years of experience

Key Duties & Physical Requirements

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, operate complex equipment, and assess patient needs
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and visitors, especially during emergencies
• Manual dexterity for precise equipment manipulation, and physical ability to lift, transfer, and transport patients and supplies
• Navigate busy clinical environments, often standing or walking for extended periods
