As an Ultrasound Technologist at RadNet, you will perform high-quality ultrasound procedures and assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures in a team-focused environment with dynamic cross-training and advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with department policy and procedure manuals, complying with all applicable federal, state, local, and other regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures as needed.
• Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of instruments that detect, display, and store acoustic information.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Demonstrate competency in safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information (PHI).
• Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information.
• Exhibit and maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers, responding to the needs of others with respect and cultural sensitivity.
• Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Requirements

• Completed Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
• Passed SPI exam.
• Current ARDMS certifications and RVT certification required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Passion for patient care and sound judgment in all situations.
• Effective and professional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Structured work approach with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

$37–$50 per hour.
