About the role
The Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound examinations under physician supervision to identify abnormalities and support patient diagnosis. Supports clinical teams by maintaining ARDMS certification and ensuring high-quality imaging, patient identification, and proper exam preparation.
Responsibilities
- Review images and adhere to protocols
- Assist and instruct staff and students
- Provide patient education
- Practice infection control
- Accurately document procedures
- Demonstrate proficiency with clinical equipment
- Ensure patient safety
- Follow reporting and quality assurance protocols
Requirements
- Registered with ARDMS
- BCLS certification
- Relevant experience (depending on level)
