About the role
Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment, serving as a lead and expert resource for the team.
Responsibilities
- Proficiently operate imaging equipment and ensure patient safety.
- Maintain imaging standards and recognize technical abnormalities.
- Adjust protocols as needed and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Assist in training staff and manage daily operations.
- Motivate team members and uphold quality assurance standards.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Sonography program with clinical hours.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Appropriate licensure and certification by ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI with advanced registries or equivalent experience.
- BLS certification required.
