Ultrasound Technologist

About the Role

The sonographer performs a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including OB/GYN, abdominal, and small parts, and assists radiologists during invasive procedures.

• Conduct abdominal Doppler studies, Nuchal Translucency, neonatal cranial exams
• Specialize in certifications such as Breast, Vascular, Neurosonography, MSK, Pediatrics, Fetal Echo, or Neonatal for advanced roles
• Make clinical judgments based on patient assessments, medical records, and physician input

Requirements

• Successful completion of an ultrasound training program
• Eligibility for ARDMS certification
• Upon hiring: National Registered Technologist - Sonography or equivalent certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum two years of sonography experience
