Responsibilities

  • Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with department policy and procedure manuals.
  • Comply with all applicable federal, state, local and other regulatory requirements.
  • Absorb and apply the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of ultrasound instruments.
  • Maintain patient well-being during exams; recognize and address patient discomfort or medical issues promptly.
  • Safeguard patient property and health information according to company policies and legal requirements.
  • Respect company property, including any on-site medications and patient financial information.
  • Respond to the needs of others by exhibiting professional behavior towards patients and coworkers.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

  • Completed Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
  • Passed SPI exam.
  • Hold current ARDMS certifications or be ARDMS Registry Eligible.
  • Have BLS certification.
