Ultrasound Technologist
About the role
The Department of Diagnostic Ultrasound at Bridgton Hospital, part of Central Maine Healthcare (CMH), seeks a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. CMH is committed to providing essential care to Maine's rural communities and is home to the Maine College of Health Professions.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation.
- Position patients and equipment and produce an appropriate recording.
- Process and transmit images to PACS.
Requirements
- RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintained.
- Graduate from an accredited ultrasound program or hold current certification as identified in #1 and graduated within 90 days of hire.
- Previous experience preferred.
- Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintained.
- Proficient computer skills.
