Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with department policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures as needed.
• Understand ultrasound data generation, theory, and operation of instruments used in clinical examinations.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams; recognize discomfort or medical issues and take appropriate action.
• Safeguard patient property and Protected Health Information (PHI) in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Secure on-site medications according to company policies and legal standards.
• Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients, coworkers, and the public, respecting patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Completed Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
• Passed SPI exam.
• Current ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry Eligible (preferred).
• BLS certification.
• Passion for patient care and sound judgment in professional situations.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and respect for patients, guests, and colleagues.
• Structured work approach with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

$25.00 - $42.00 per hour.
