About the Role
Join our team as a night shift, full-time Ultrasound Technologist in Pocatello, ID. Thrive in a people-first environment and help make healthcare better by performing diagnostic medical sonography and interventional procedures under physician supervision to provide high-quality diagnostic exams and patient care.
Procedures include abdominal, transvaginal, OB/GYN, and interventional ultrasound.
Responsibilities
- Perform all phases of diagnostic medical sonography and/or interventional procedures.
- Conduct abdominal scans (liver, kidneys, gallbladder, spleen, pancreas, and parts of the chest).
- Perform obstetric and gynecologic scans, including imaging of the female reproductive system and fetus.
- Conduct noninvasive vascular exams (carotid, venous, aorta, and hepatic Doppler studies).
- Assist in interventional cases.
- Demonstrate specific normal anatomy and abnormal pathology.
Requirements
- Must hold or be pursuing current licensure as an RDMS with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or equivalent.
- Must obtain ARDMS certification within 18 months of hire.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- Competency in scanning abdominal organs, obstetric and gynecologic areas, and noninvasive vascular exams.
- Competency in interventional cases.
