Ultrasound Technologist

About the role

Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging to support high-risk obstetrical diagnoses, operate sonographic equipment, and assist physicians during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review image quality and maintain accurate patient records
• Adhere to safety protocols and collaborate within a healthcare team
• Train students and sonographers
• Ensure patient comfort and understanding
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Ultrasound certificate
• Associate's degree or radiology/ultrasound certification
• BLS certification
• Registration with ARDMS or ARRT within one year of hire

Qualifications

Preferred: 2 years of Maternal Fetal Medicine ultrasound experience or 5 years of Obstetric/Gynecologic ultrasound experience, with certifications in OB/GYN and Fetal Echocardiography.
