About the role
Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging to support high-risk obstetrical diagnoses, operate sonographic equipment, and assist physicians during procedures.
Responsibilities
- Review image quality and maintain accurate patient records
- Adhere to safety protocols and collaborate within a healthcare team
- Train students and sonographers
- Ensure patient comfort and understanding
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Ultrasound certificate
- Associate's degree or radiology/ultrasound certification
- BLS certification
- Registration with ARDMS or ARRT within one year of hire
Qualifications
Preferred: 2 years of Maternal Fetal Medicine ultrasound experience or 5 years of Obstetric/Gynecologic ultrasound experience, with certifications in OB/GYN and Fetal Echocardiography.
