Ultrasound Tech, Full-Time, Piedmont Columbus Midtown
Responsibilities
- Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
- Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
- Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
- Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
- Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
Qualifications
- Education: Approved CAAHEP Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or approved Sonography Program by the ARRT.
- Required or Work Experience: No experience required.
- Required 1 year of experience.
- PREFERRED: 2+ years of experience.
- Licenses and Certifications: ARDMS/ARRT(s) registry eligible, Required and BCLS - Basic Life Support, upon hire; Required and ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography, licensure requirement for Breast Ultrasound can be met with registration through ARRT (BS), or ARDMS.
