About the role

Execute high-quality diagnostic imaging studies, including complex and routine exams, by expertly setting up equipment and maneuvering specialized tools (e.g., transducers) to capture precise anatomical detail.

Document comprehensive and accurate patient data, history, and high-quality images, ensuring prompt submission to the PACS system to support timely and reliable physician diagnoses.

Evaluate image quality during the procedure to recognize significant pathology, artifacts, and equipment limitations, ensuring reliable clinical data is delivered for accurate patient assessment.

Maintain a high-safety environment by strictly implementing quality control procedures and adhering to all regulatory compliance standards, actively protecting the well-being of both patients and the care team.

Responsibilities

  • Execute high-quality diagnostic imaging studies, including complex and routine exams, by expertly setting up equipment and maneuvering specialized tools (e.g., transducers) to capture precise anatomical detail.
  • Document comprehensive and accurate patient data, history, and high-quality images, ensuring prompt submission to the PACS system to support timely and reliable physician diagnoses.
  • Evaluate image quality during the procedure to recognize significant pathology, artifacts, and equipment limitations, ensuring reliable clinical data is delivered for accurate patient assessment.
  • Maintain a high-safety environment by strictly implementing quality control procedures and adhering to all regulatory compliance standards, actively protecting the well-being of both patients and the care team.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • All specialties accepted.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical certificate/degree required.

Skills

  • Knowledge of diagnostic imaging equipment and techniques.
  • Ability to document patient information accurately.
  • Proficiency in quality control procedures.
  • Compliance with regulatory standards.
