Ultrasound Tech

About the role

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a casual, as needed Ultrasound Tech to work with our Diagnostic Imaging Department. The Ultrasound Tech under the direction of the Ultrasound Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation of all ultrasound activities at Cabell Huntington Hospital. The Ultrasound Tech ensures the quality of services rendered is acceptable. Confirms orders, documents, medical necessity, and pre-authorization on all ultrasound orders. Provides care to patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic procedures as directed.
