Ultrasound Tech
Job Summary
This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. Performs imaging procedures of the abdominal and pelvic cavity, thyroid area, musculature, and soft tissues with the use of ultrasound apparatus and obstetrics.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Completed certification from Ultrasound School or Radiology Technology School
- Minimum Experience: 2 years
- Required Certification: BLS
- Required Licensure: ARDMS, RVT or ARRT, VS (Vascular sonographer) or CCI (cardiovascular credentialing international), RVS, or RCVT (registered vascular specialist)
- Skills: Computer experience preferred; typing and medical terminology
- Note – Required certifications are to be completed by 3 months of employment.
