About the role
Scope to Work Under site designate leader, and according to established policies and procedures performs accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.
Qualifications
- Required associate's degree or equivalent
- Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent
- Minimal as gained at student level
- Required CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association
- Upon Hire required OR CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross
- Required CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- EXCLUDE Cardiac
- 1 Year required CRT-Breast Sonographer (BS) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- EXCLUDES Cardiac, General, Vascular
- 1 Year required
- Required CRT-Abdomen (AB) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
