UCHealth Family Medicine Physician – Westminster Clinic Open Rank - Senior Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor
About the role
The clinician (MD or DO) in this position will function as a family medicine provider in our Westminster Family Medicine clinic as a 1.0 FTE clinician without dedicated residency precepting responsibilities. This position will provide high quality medical care.
Responsibilities
- Provide full scope direct patient care in an ambulatory clinical setting.
- Participate as needed in chart review and clinical coding compliance activities.
- Absorb and assist in supervision advanced practice providers at the clinic.
- Absorb and assist in administrative/clinical quality improvement functions relating to a variety of programs at the direction of the medical director.
- Provide education to medical students during their ambulatory rotation.
- Maintain eligibility for School of Medicine Faculty.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in field, both academically and through applied skill.
- Attend and present at conferences, meetings and trainings in order to maintain certification and enhance professional skills; participates in faculty development activities.
- Accept other responsibilities assigned by the Medical Director.
Requirements
- Terminal degree in Medicine or Osteopathy (MD or DO).
- Board Certified in Family Medicine.
- Graduation from an accredited Family Medicine Residency program.
- Ability to obtain Colorado Medical License and possession of a current DEA Certificate.
- Ability to be fully credentialed with the UCH system and UPI Managed Care.

- Senior Instructor: Terminal degree in Medicine or Osteopathy (MD or DO).
- Assistant Professor: Terminal degree in Medicine or Osteopathy (MD or DO).
- Associate Professor: Terminal degree in Medicine or Osteopathy (MD or DO).
- Professor: Terminal degree in Medicine or Osteopathy (MD or DO).
Skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clinic and Department of Family Medicine faculty and staff.

- Experience training and developing staff.
- Experience or interest in education and research and faculty development.
- Experience with using an electronic health record system, preferably Epic.
- Experience with providing Telehealth/virtual visits.
- Licensed MAT provider.

Pay
Hiring Range: Senior Instructor $195,000-$242,000, plus the possibility of incentives based on clinical FTE. Assistant Professor $195,000-$242,000, plus the possibility of incentives based on clinical FTE. Associate Professor $201,000-$248,000 plus the possibility of incentives based on clinical FTE. Professor $207,000-$254,000 plus the possibility of incentives based on clinical FTE.
Schedule
This role is expected to work onsite and is located in Westminster, Colorado.
