UCC Lien Search Specialist

About the role

This fully remote, direct hire opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong UCC search experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The successful candidate will conduct nationwide lien and court record searches, analyze legal records, and deliver accurate, timely reports while collaborating with the team remotely.

Responsibilities

• Perform nationwide UCC, Federal Tax Lien, State Tax Lien, Judgment, Bankruptcy, and U.S. District Court searches
• Review and analyze legal records to ensure complete and accurate search results
• Compile research findings into organized, client-ready reports
• Manage multiple search requests while meeting strict deadlines
• Coordinate with internal team members and external search partners to complete assignments efficiently
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with established search procedures
• Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders regarding search status and results
• Assist with additional research and operational projects as needed

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience conducting UCC/lien searches
• Experience working for a title company, law firm, legal services company, or similar organization strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of UCC searches, tax liens, judgments, bankruptcy records, and related public records
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and data entry accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Typing speed of 50+ WPM preferred
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative remote team

Details

Direct hire, remote opportunity. Candidates must be able to work Central or Eastern Time business hours. Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs.

Pay

Competitive compensation with a salary range of $50,000–$65,000, commensurate with experience. Annual bonus eligible.
