Typist Clerk (Entry Level)

Responsibilities

  • Type, edit, and format documents, reports, correspondence, and other business materials with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Review documents for spelling, grammar, formatting, and data consistency before submission.
  • Enter and update information in company databases and electronic filing systems.
  • Organize, maintain, and retrieve digital records and documents as needed.
  • Ensure confidential information is handled securely and in accordance with company policies.
  • Respond to administrative requests and complete assigned tasks within established deadlines.
  • Aid with general clerical and administrative duties to support daily business operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous typing, administrative, data entry, or clerical experience is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent typing speed with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
  • Highly organized, dependable, and capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and follow established procedures.
