About the role

Our client is seeking a Tyler Pipe - General Accountant to join their team. This position will be responsible for managing financial operations and ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting
• Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations for cost control
• Prepare and maintain financial records and documents
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance
• CPA certification preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks
