About the role
Tyler Pipe is seeking a General Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong financial analysis and reporting skills, and be able to work independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations for improvement
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial data
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Experience with QuickBooks and other accounting software
Skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience with financial modeling and budgeting
