About the Opportunity:The GENERAL ACCOUNTANT is responsible for managing the month-end close process, ensuring financial accuracy, and handling statutory and indirect tax compliance for designated entities. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate financial data, supporting complex transactions, and coordinating compliance and audit activities. The position contributes to the organization by ensuring reliable financial reporting and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the month-end close process with accurate and complete financial data.
• Analyze variances, explain key movements, and monitor financial trends.
• Support complex and non-routine transactions by assessing financial impacts and coordinating with Tax and Legal teams.
• Maintain and execute statutory and tax compliance activities, including regulatory filings and audits.
• Post and document statutory and tax adjustments in the ERP system.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data across systems like NetSuite and local reporting tools.
• Coordinate with Tax, Legal, external consultants, and auditors for timely and accurate submissions and reviews.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and maintain documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
• Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.
• Experience working in multinational or multi-entity environments.
• Familiarity with statutory and tax compliance processes.
• Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in English.

Pay

Base compensation range from $110,000 to $140,000 USD. The pay range and compensation package will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, hiring level, and geographic location.
